•Developing strategies for meeting business objectives
•Implementing a muliple vendor solution with campus single sign-on
•Promoting internal and external groups about the suite of services
•Relationship management with the project's 17 campus partners
•Leading marketing effort
•Moderating forums and developing community policies
•Leading the development of more than 450 dynamic screens and the launch of the community
•Conducting user acceptance testing, user investigation, and user testing
•Serving as project manager of the day-to-day work on @cal

Business objective: Write clear, concise content to improve the usability of the site.

Duties: Recruit and manage contractors for all phases of work, including creating the content inventory, writing, and editing the copy.

Goal: To develop a unified site for providing customer support for Microsoft's IT customers in the United Kingdom.

Business objective: Bring together disparate back end systems in one user interface that allows users to easily access customer support options.

Duties: Working with Microsoft team to define requirements; working with design team to create new portal design and interior pages.

Goal: Develop a brand and create an online marketplace for a logistics and transportation services company based in Monterrey, Mexico.

Business objective: Define and create brand. Use website to meet new and emerging employee and client needs.

Duties: Worked as content producer and assisted with presentation materials for a branding workshop.

Goal: To simplify and reorganize the City of Houston's portal page.

Business objective: Improve the usability of the portal page so Houston residents would use the city's online services to access city information.

Duties: Redefined the information architecture of the page and rewrote the content on the portal.

Goal: Create a conceptual prototype for use during internal corporate demonstrations. Additional details not available because of non-disclosure agreement.

Business objective: Prototype would demonstrate a new product and service for managing several types of communications through one device.

Duties: Wrote and edited content.

Goal: Create a consistent internet experience for Motorola employees developing website design and content. Introduce editorial best practices to the Motorola content process.

Business objective: Create a standard for the online Motorola brand.

Duties: Developed online style guide, voice guide, and an editorial calendar. Wrote and edited content.
